Welcome to Polperro's friendly care home

Restgarth Residential Care Home is situated in the lovely coastal village of Polperro, near Looe, in South East Cornwall. The famous harbour is a short walk away or a few minutes by horse drawn carriage! 

We offer a safe and supportive environment to people with a variety of needs.

With our friendly and mostly local team of care staff, we aim to help residents retain their links with their communities, family and friends. We encourage residents to retain their independence for as long as possible.

We currently have a single ensuite room available.

Residential Care

At Restgarth we provide a friendly, safe environment for elderly people over the age of 65. We have 34 rooms of which two can accommodate a couple or friends who would prefer to share.

Respite Care

We also provide respite care on a regular basis for several residents along with day care facilities. A good way to find out more about us is to attend for an informal chat, a meal or join us for a trial period of residency.

We provide 'Holiday Respite'. This service may appeal to families who are holidaying in Cornwall and wish to find a respite facility for an elderly relative at the same time.

Dementia Care

We are also able to cater for people suffering from dementia. We do make thorough assessments so we can meet their needs.

Partnership in Care

Whilst retaining overall responsibility,we are happy to include partners,relatives or friends in partnership with the care we offer. We also appreciate that prior to our involvement others have taken a leading role in caring for our residents / clients. According to residents / clients choice we will help to maintain an inclusive model of care. This can be centered around assisting with day to day care and having an input with care plans.

All residents /clients receive a plan of care that reflects their caring needs.

Fees

Our fees range from £375 to £450 per week depending on needs and room available.
